Sue Wolff began in SAR in 1994 as base support and has many years of experience in various SAR fields including K-9. She has worked German shepherds certified in Area, Disaster, and Human Remains Detection (Land and Water).
Sue became a part of the NSDA Board of Directors in 2007 as Treasurer. She is a past President of the Alliance as well as past Secretary, past Secretary-Treasurer and past Editor of NSDA’s newsletter. She is a former Principal Evaluator for NSDA in Land Human Remains Detection.
She is a certified Incident Commander; a NASAR SARTECH™I, Crew Leader III; a former SARTECH™ II Evaluator; and a former Canine SARTECH™ HRD (Land) Evaluator. Sue is the co-founder of Tennessee Special Response Team-A, Inc. (TN SRT-A), a non-profit 501(c)(3) SAR organization. She has served TN SRT-A as a K-9 trainer in Area Search as well as Land and Water Human Remains Detection and as Secretary-Treasurer.
Sue is a DOT Medical First Responder and has an FCC Technician Amateur Radio License, KF4HXT. She is a member of and K-9 Search Manager for Tennessee Task Force 5.
